Upper School Academic Advising Hour – January 2025
When we return in January, each class (current 5th through 11th grade) will be having an Academic Advising Hour. This is a meeting for parents and students as we look to the upcoming school year. Depending on the grade level, we will be discussing academics, graduation plans, dual credit opportunities, college planning, electives, service opportunities, athletics, and more. We have planned these meetings during Period 1 (7:45 – 8:35 a.m.), except for 5th grade (see below). We have selected this time in the hope that it will be convenient for parents so that you can attend and then move forward with the rest of your day. You will be attending the meeting of your current grade in preparation for the next grade. We look forward to seeing you there!
Here are the dates to plan for:
- Monday, January 13: Current 6th Grade (Gym)
- Tuesday, January 14: Current 7th Grade (Gym)
- Thursday, January 16: Current 8th Grade (Frisco)
- Tuesday, January 21: Current 9th Grade (Gym)
- Tuesday, January 21: Current 5th Grade (2:15 p.m., in Big D)
- Monday, January 27: Current 10th Grade (Gym)
- Tuesday, January 28: Current 11th Grade (Gym)
